This is looking south at Campus Crusade from in front of our house. That’s the field I walk across to work. You can see the outer band of clouds from Ernesto on the horizon. I won’t be walking that way tomorrow because we have the day off.

We have a lot of these around. They’re about the size of my middle finger, 3 or 4 inches. They don’t move from the center of their webs for days where they all hang head down on a reinforced band of the web.

Got surprised by this one on our door coming back from church today. It was about 4 inches long. I vowed a few days ago that I wouldn’t jump when I came across big bugs because it happens so often. I jumped.
