Tum Non Disclosure Agreement

Any professor or post-doc employed at the Technical University of Munich may be nominated for the supervisory board`s tum award. In addition to excellent supervision, the only formal criterion is that at least one of the assisted PhD students is/has been an active member of the TUM Graduate School. A tutor can be appointed by a single doctoral student or by a group of up to 3 students. However, note that each professor or post-doc can be appointed only once a year, i.e. several appointments of different PhD students are “combined” and count as an appointment. In order to name your supervisor, you must sign the non-disclosure agreement. Phase II: Graduation Centres Select top superiors (March – April) A nominee from each candidate selected for Phase II is invited to a discussion meeting with the presence of candidates, PhD students and graduation directors. Participation in the discussion sessions is mandatory. Before the meeting, all participants sign a confidentiality agreement and have the option of anonymous self-exclusion. The meeting is chaired by PhD students. After a brief one-on-one presentation and an open discussion, a vote will determine the best candidates for each graduate centre. These top3s are put in order by their nominees and PhD students according to the criteria used in Phase I. After the meeting, PhD students report on the results at the TUM Graduate Council.
