AINP does not have information about your IRCC application and cannot provide status updates. We can invite you to a personal interview at the BC PNP offices in Vancouver. During the job interview, you will be asked about your professional/commercial experience. You should also expect to discuss your business plan. We will evaluate your application based on the information you provide both in your application and during the job interview. IRCC will return your application if it is incomplete or if you have not paid the required fee. After applying for a permanent residence, the IOC will determine if your application is complete. If the IOC accepts your application, it will send you a file number and tell you the next steps. We give you a letter of support to allow you to apply for a two-year work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This allows you and your loved ones to switch to B.C. so you can start implementing your business plan. You must arrive at B.C.
with your valid work permit within 12 months or 365 days of the date of your confirmation letter. The next step is to create your business according to the terms of your performance contract. You can check the status of your IRCC application online with your file number. IRCC may require you to present a copy of this certificate of appointment with your application for permanent residence. You may also be asked to submit a copy of this certificate of appointment in order to renew your work permit. You may want to improve your score by proposing a new business concept or by improving your ability to adapt. This score takes into account factors such as your level of English, your age and your Canadian work experience. You can submit a new registration if you are not invited to apply after six months in the qualified pool. If you are invited to apply, you have four months to submit a full application via BCPNP Online. The sooner you apply for a permanent residence, the sooner you will be able to obtain an Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) of your IRCC application and an IRCC file number.
Your AOR and IRCC file numbers are very important if you need to renew your work permit. BC PNP reserves the right to make changes to the registration process without notice, including changes to the points grid, the minimum required in each section, the duration of registrations in the qualified pool and the number and frequency of registrants invited to apply. Do not send your application to another visa. If you are granted an extension of appointment, you must follow the steps in your IRCC application to submit your application. If you do not attach a copy of your receipt, you will have 10 business days to provide proof of payment. If proof of payment is not received within 10 business days, your request will be cancelled. We regularly leave the qualified pool to invite candidates to apply. The number and frequency of invitations are based on the annual allocations set by IRCC. .
